My hair was mid back length.I went to Carlton Hair Salon in Marina Del Rey for a hair cut and change in color. I had a photo with me of that cut and the color was ombre. The hair-dresser that helped me was clueless and rude. After spending over three hours and $ 480.00, the cut was a total mess and the color was the ugliest shade of orange(which had absolutely nothing with the color I wanted).Next day I called the salon and went back to fix whatever the can fix. Two hours later I left mad after they burned my hair with chemicals trying to fix that orange shade. I had to cut my hair very short to get rid of the fried hair.

Alexis Champion of Carlton Hair Marina Del Rey is an idiotic B****

I went to Carlton Hair Marina Del Rey in California to get my hair lightened and was told that Alexis Champion will be attending to me and I was glad because I heard that she is supposed to be this wonderful and talented hair stylist. A few minutes after she put the foils in my hair, they started getting really hot, and I had had my hair lightened before so I knew it wasn't normal. I told her that they were getting hot. She touched them and said it's normal and walked off. A few minutes later my head felt like it was burning and I called her over and the foils were too hot for her or her assistant to even touch, so they dragged me over to the sink and had to wet the foil before they could touch it and remove it, along with chunks of my hair and I was made to pay the full price for the service! The Carlton Hair Marina Del Rey hair salon should fire Alexis Champion for being negligent and wouldn't even apologize for her mistake! I think this girl was {{REDACTED}} while at work... looked very dazed and confused... such an !d!0+...
